Main Responsibilities:   
Responsible for all steps of academic development of the discipline of pharmacy within the school of Medicine and Health Sciences and maintain the highest international standards of knowledge and skill in that discipline;

· Assume responsibility for the academic development of the discipline of pharmacy within the school of Medicine and Health Sciences and maintain the highest international standards of knowledge and skill in that discipline;
· Engage actively in high quality, internationally recognized research in the discipline of pharmacy;
· Develop a research culture in the discipline and foster the research of groups and individuals within the school;
· Foster collaborative cross-disciplinary research by working with staff from other disciplines, as appropriate, to promote research collaboration and research programs which complement each other; provide input into the development of research policy;
· Make a distinguished contribution to the teaching of pharmacy at graduate levels and to the training of postgraduate research students;
· Conduct tutorials, other small group classes, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, skills sessions and student field excursions where appropriate;
· Participate in school and faculty curriculum planning processes, academic committees and relevant examination processes;

Performance Management: 
The performance of the Professor (or Associate Professor) of Pharmacy will be assessed annually by the Head,

Selection Criteria: 
Qualifications: 
· A research doctorate or equivalent research achievement in any of the following disciplines; Pharmaceutical analysis and Quality control, , Pharmaceutics

Achievements, qualities, capabilities: 
· International reputation for outstanding research;
· Record of successful supervision of postgraduate research students;
· Proven excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Job Description: 
Sanitizing and maintenance Equipment and services for the hospitality, institutional and has the following position available at the Alliance Institute of Advanced Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences, 
The Laboratory Technician will help students to perform all functions in an accurate and timely manner and promote high quality standards in all area of the Lab. 

Main Responsibilities:   
Responsible for all steps of routine experimentation including sample prep, equipment orientation, instrument control, data processing, and analysis  

· Responsible for sampling and testing raw materials, assuring compliance to specification  
· Multi-task between many projects to ensure the various completion deadlines are met  
· Uses a variety of laboratory glassware and equipment requiring a high degree of acquired skills  
· Observe all safety regulations and safe chemical handling procedures as required  
· Assist in writing experimental reports, summaries, and/or protocols  
· Interface and work with production and regulatory personnel  
· Manage waste water neutralization tanks  
· Maintain laboratory inventory  
· Rotate batch retain samples and manage space constraint  
· Housekeeping  

Basic Qualifications: 
· Degree in Pharmacy or related technical discipline  
· Minimum 2 years of laboratory technician experience  

Preferred Qualifications: 
· Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy Science or technical area  
· One year plus experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical or biological industry /pharmacy college 
· Knowledge of laboratory practices, scientific terminology and the characterization and preparation of materials used in routine labs and special procedures.  
· Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks  
· Effective written and verbal communication skills  
· Internship or work experience in a formulation environment  
· Knowledge of ISO and GMP  

Experience in handling of following  instruments
Rotary tablet press, Sonicator, Dissolution, Disintegration, Tablet friablator, Tablet hardness tester, Sieve analysis,
