Pharmaceutics is the science of dosage form design. There are many chemicals with known pharmacological properties but a raw chemical is of no use to a patient. Pharmaceutics deals with the formulation of a pure drug substance into a dosage form.
Industrial Pharmaceutics is a unique program focusing on teaching dosage form design and process technology. This course is very close to today's needs of the pharmaceutical industry- creation of robust formulation and process in an expedited manner. Alliance has close collaboration with the pharmaceutical industry enabling the students to integrate into its working culture with no additional training. |

| MS in Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Control |

Pharmaceutical Analysis involves separation and quantitation of the compounds of interest. Quality Control of pharmaceuticals involves inspection and control of production, evaluation and distribution.
Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Control program deals with application of modern and traditional techniques for the analysis of pharmaceutical products to support the discovery and/or development activities. The curriculum is designed to provide lots of hands-on time on a range of modern techniques and to provide regulatory and quality standards perspective which are crucial aspects for pharmaceutical industry.
Both the programs offer an opportunity to do second-year research project at our collaborative universities in USA under reputed researchers. |
